Be sure to keep an eye out for the Friends of the Berryville Library’s upcoming raffle. Starting in May, you’ll be able to buy tickets for the Friends’ Make It a Summer of Adventure fundraising raffle. A special thank you to our presenting sponsor, Tonya Williams at Shelter Insurance, and all of our other generous sponsors. The prize drawing will be held Saturday, June 8, at the Ice Cream Social.
Multiple prizes are up for grabs, each promising to help you put a little adventure in your summer. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you’ll have to win one or more of our Ozark adventure aids, be it a two-night deluxe spa package at the Crescent Inn or Basin Park Hotel in Eureka Springs, a Clay Maxey oil change to keep your vehicle in tip-top shape for a driving adventure, a cooler full of fun things from Walmart for a family camping adventure sure to make memories, a NOCO Boost jump starter from Battery Outfitters to keep all your batteries juiced up no matter where the adventure takes you, tickets for the Missouri-Arkansas Railroad, tickets for a Turkey Creek kayaking adventure in Branson, or $1,000 in cash donated by Tonya Williams Shelter Insurance to spend on any adventure of your choice.
Tickets are $5 each, or 5 for $20 and are available at the library as well as at Tonya Williams Shelter Insurance, 125 N Main Street, and It’s a Mystery BookStore, 107 Public Square.
Also keep an eye out for the Friends’ adventure booklet, which will highlight each prize and all our wonderful sponsors, as well as provide adventure tips and even adventure reading recommendations that pair with the library’s Adventure is Out There summer reading challenge for all ages.
Whether you’re planning the vacation of a lifetime or looking for an adventure you can experience from the comfort of your own home, let the Friends of the Berryville Library help you make it summer of adventure while you help us get one step closer to building a new library! We’re less than $300,000 away.
What are your plans for the summer? What would you do with $1,000? Tell us in the comments!
