We hope to see you at the Grand Opening of the new Berryville Library on Friday, August 7!
We will be doing the ribbon cutting at 10 am and then hosting the Grand Opening until 2 pm.
Be one of the first people to explore the new library at 207 S. Springfield Street. The staff will be hosting an open house inside to highlight our new spaces and other programs and services the library offers.
Our Friends of the Berryville Library have also arranged for lots of free family fun during the event. There will be a scavenger hunt inside the library, as well as bounce houses and a community chalk mural outside.
Our area banks will also be serving lunch outside from 11 am to 1 pm, and coffee and doughnuts will be available before the ribbon cutting. And because it is Arkansas in August, there will be plenty of free water on hand too.
During the Grand Opening, the library parking lot will be closed to allow pedestrians to safely explore the grounds, but you can park a couple of blocks away at the city lot on Springfield Street behind the water department or down the street by the city pool (500 Basore).
Can’t make the Grand Opening ceremonies? That’s okay! We will be open for regular operations from 10 am to 6 pm on the 7th and resume our regular operating hours the following day.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful new home that was built by our community, for our community now and for generations to come. A special thank you to everyone who helped make this dream come true, and we hope to see you on August 7th.
Will you be attending the Grand Opening? What are you most excited for at the new library? Tell us in the comments!
